self-care 101
This podcast is for anyone who’s ever had a crappy Monday. Or a hangover. Or failed a test. Or had an off-day when you wanted to be on.
This week’s podcast is just some self-care 101. I share a whole list of different things you can do to feel better, and feel better quickly. If you commit to one or all of these practices, I know you will see improvements in your mood.
At the end of the day, we all just want to feel a little bit better, so take some time to invest in yourself and take good care. So…
- Light exercise. Do some Yoga with Adriene, or go for a nice walk.
- Meditate! Doesn’t have to be intense. Try these Meditations & Kundalini meditations.
- Write it all out. Here are some journal prompts & Katie’s journaling book.
- Spend time in nature.
- Talk to a good friend who’s earned the right to your story. Get vulnerable. Watch Brene Brown TED Talk for inspiration.

- Listen to positive music. Here are some good playlists.
- Buy yourself a small gift.
- Wear clothes that make you feel good.
- Take a nap or rest.
- Read fiction.
- Cook a nice meal.
