Going through a break-up?

First, please accept my biggest bear hug. I’m going to hold you and let you cry on my shoulder for as long as you need. I’m here.

Feel exactly what you need to feel. Do not hold back. Feel it as many times a day as you need to. Cry on the bus. Hiccup from the sobbing. Let it out. All of it. As many times as it comes up.

Ask for support. From a higher power that you believe in. From the sunrise. From your tribe, your friends, your family. From me. From a therapist. Dig deep, be vulnerable, and ask for support. You will not regret this step and you will not be able to move on if you skip this step.

There is no time frame. You don’t have to put on a happy face by tomorrow. You just need to get through today, through the next hour. I’m here with you.
