how to be happy (in no BS, millennial-speak)

I’VE MISSED YOU.

Season 1 ended on July 4th, but these two months have felt like an eternity. I’ve missed you all (and your accompanying joy and wisdom and friendship) dearly.

This week, I am talking about how to be happy. Who am I to be dispensing this advice? Well… I’m a real, live happy person! I actually recorded this one twice because I thought the advice I gave the first time around was bullshit, so know that you are getting the real deal.

Here’s a breakdown:

  • It’s all about your mental game. You can have the perfect body, boy, and brilliant job, and still be miserable.
  • When you feel off, meditate and reconnect with yourself. It will ground you back into your place in this world.
  • You are not a victim of your circumstances. Sorry.
  • Get good at practicing the idea that things will not go your way in life. Challenges are opportunities for growth. This changes everything.
  • Consider your definition of success. Is it something external? Or is it authenticity?
