cultivating courage (w/ Galen Bernard)

I interviewed my friend Galen for the podcast.

He’s a facilitator and coach here in Boulder, Colorado.

He’s been in my life for some months now, and the moment I attended his monthly event, Courage Club, I knew I needed to bring him on the podcast.

Courage is something we hear about all the time, right? We recognize it as a characteristic to cultivate, but when do we ever take the opportunity to really unpack it?

So that’s what we did. We unpacked the concept of courage. For an hour. In his apartment. On my podcast.

We talked about:

  • Galen’s first fear
  • Why we crave certainty and order
  • How courage works, biologically
  • A step-by-step framework to cultivate courage

Folks, this one is going down in Tribe history as a classic. This is the ultimate practical how-to guide to courage, with a lot of laughter sprinkled in.

BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE.  For those of you who live in the Boulder area, Galen hosts events once a month. I went to the January Courage Club and felt some big things shift. If you live around here, you need to make it happen. And he likes me enough that he is giving my friends a discount to attend. Use the code ‘jointheclub’ for $10 tickets!

^^shameless plug for something I truly believe in

I hope you go out into the world this week and support the things you truly believe in, too.
