While not all of us are trying to show Avicii that we are cool, we are usually posing in some way, at some point in our lives. We use Instagram to show that our lives are beautiful and happy. When someone asks, “How are you?” we always autorespond, “Good, and you?”

We drink, we smoke, we chase sex and relationships, we eat too much, we eat too little, we spend too much money on things we don’t want… because we want people to like us. Because we want to prove ourselves.
