Annika Erickson-Pearson

Annika is the Director of Search for StartingBloc, the social impact Fellowship. StartingBloc exists to convene, grow, and support the leaders that the future needs. Some of these leaders have included Adam “Smiley” Poswolsky, Debra Cleaver, and Shivani Siroya. Annika oversees the admissions process and develops partnership and sponsorship opportunities for the StartingBloc community.

Annika started her weekly podcast, Tribe, in November 2015 and has since interviewed Chris Guillebeau, Heather Havrilesky, and Matthew Abrams, among other guests. Tribe episodes outline practical tips for day-to-day happiness, with a healthy amount of storytelling and humor. Annika offers private coaching sessions on these topics to young women who are typically priced out of access to life-coaching services. She is a student of Gabrielle Bernstein.

In her free time, Annika is a fierce organizer, activist, and advocate. She was trained in advocacy by the UN Foundation, the RESULTS Educational Fund, and in her time interning for Senator Michael Bennet. She now serves as Secretary on the Board of Directors for the Global Campaign for Education – US Chapter (GCE-US) and is an unofficial mentor to her circles on all-things-Congressional-lobbying.

She loves to read, hike, swim, eat, sing, and occasionally watch the sunset from her balcony in beautiful Boulder, Colorado.
